The most private development in all of Thousand Acres, Smith Pointe is our premier offering with spectacular 180 degree views, providing a panorama of a broad section of the lake, as well as stunning western sunsets. The eleven lots range in size from 1 1/2 to 2 acres with lake frontage ranging from 170 to 240 feet depending on the natural flow of the landscape. To protect the green space and the viewshed both from the road and between properties, setbacks are increased to 60 feet between homes and 100 feet from the road. These protections will ensure the picturesque view and the privacy of each property remains the same for generations. An abundance of green space has been dedicated along this end of North Shoreline Drive and Smith Point Road to preserve the view traveling to each property. This development boasts excellent water depth with the buffer strip boundary quite close to the water. Each lakefront lot has an individual Class A dock permit. Visiting Smith Pointe
From Sky Valley Road, go through the Thousand Acres main gate and take your first right. This is Little Snaggy Mountain Road. Continue about 1 mile and just over the top of the hill you will see Sawmill Hollow Road to the right. There will be signs for North Shore Lakefront and Lakeview. Follow North Shoreline Drive to the end of the road. Make a gentle right onto Smith Pointe Road. The road makes a loop.
